Job Description

Nationality : Nepali.

Desired Qualification Secondary school certificate (10 Years of school education) Industrial Trade training preferred Minimum 5years experience in the Petrochemical or Oil & Gas industry offshore.

Responsibilities'

Directs Crane Operators when crane is being utilized for lifts to transport and erect rigging equipment on site from the Rigging Loft and returns equipment on completion of work

Makes and splices using hand-splicing or machine-splicing methods, as specified by Rigging Supervisor

Performs rigging duties on dismantled process equipment, such as heat exchangers, condensers, large valves, pipe work etc. includes removing and replacing tubular and other damaged parts as directed.

Undertakes rigging activites of all lifts according to best rigging pratice and techniques according to PTW system, HSE manuals and Standing Instructions.

Aware of working practises in Oil & Gas Industry with Highest attention to HSE. Knowledge to Operates machinery and handle tools required to perform work

Experience to perform test on rigging equipment occasionally to ensure safety and reliability)

Perform basic mathematical calculation on derating the maximum capacity in handle the loads.
