THE POSITION: RIG INSPECTOR
We are seeking an experienced
Rig Inspector
with
deep knowledge of jacking systems
to join our growing team in Abu Dhabi, UAE. This opportunity comes following the signing of a major long-term contract, providing excellent stability and career growth potential.
As a Rig Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive inspections and audits of drilling rigs, equipment and systems, on your area of expertise, ensuring compliance with industry standards, regulations, and client specifications. This position will involve frequent travel, more particularly throughout the Middle East region.
Employment Type:
Full-time local contract in UAE preferred. Freelance applications also welcomed.
Location:
Based in Abu Dhabi, UAE with frequent travel mainly throughout the Middle East.

COMPENSATION
Local contract:
monthly compensation depending on experience of candidate,
plus added benefits
per day worked on the rigs.
Freelance:
Starting at 1,500 AED (405 USD) per day worked on the rig, depending on the experience of candidate..
YOUR RESPONSABILITIES :
Conduct
detailed technical inspections
and audits of drilling rigs, with particular emphasis on jackup platforms, including mechanical and structural components in accordance with your area of expertise.
Verify compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and client-specific requirements.
Review rig and equipment documentation, Identify non-conformities, document findings systematically according to company procedures and templates,
create detailed reports
, and maintain comprehensive inspection records.
Collaborate with clients
to address inspection findings and implement corrective actions.
Support the
development and improvement
of inspection methodologies and checklists.
THIS POSITION IS FOR YOU IF:
You have a minimum of
8 years of experience
in the oil and gas industry, with a strong technical background in
mechanical
and
jacking systems equipments
. Applications from experienced
barge engineers
are also welcomed.
You possess significant experience working on
jackup rigs
, with in-depth knowledge of their systems and operations.
You are familiar with
international standards
and regulations applicable to offshore drilling operations.
You demonstrate exceptional
attention to detail
and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.
You are
technically versatile
with the ability to quickly identify and troubleshoot complex issues in various rig systems.
