We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused

Ride Technician

to maintain, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair amusement rides and attractions. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical and electrical background with a focus on preventive maintenance and operational safety in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and preventive maintenance on rides and attractions in accordance with safety standards and manufacturer guidelines. Conduct daily safety checks, start-up procedures, and inspections before operation. Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues on rides and equipment. Respond quickly to ride breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime. Maintain accurate records of inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities. Ensure compliance with all local, state, and international safety regulations (e.g., ASTM, ISO). Work closely with operations and safety teams to ensure ride readiness and guest safety. Participate in scheduled safety drills and emergency response procedures. Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools. Follow lockout/tagout procedures and other safety protocols strictly.

Skills & Qualifications:

Diploma or Technical Certificate in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electromechanical Engineering. 2-5 years of hands-on experience in ride maintenance or amusement equipment preferred. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with PLC systems, motors, sensors, and safety systems is an advantage. Able to work at heights and in various weather conditions. Good communication and teamwork skills. Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Preferred Experience:

Previous experience in amusement parks, entertainment venues, or similar facilities. Knowledge of HSE standards, ride manufacturer documentation, and preventive maintenance programs. Certifications in ride safety, LOTO, or first aid are a plus.
