About the opportunity

The Pricing and Revenue Optimization Manager will be responsible for developing, maintaining and analyzing pricing for Wego hotel products in order to drive the optimization of our pricing strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Data Analytics
  • Daily monitoring of hotels sales trends;
  • Statistical analysis of hotels revenue drivers and correlations;
  • Perform in-depth analysis on complex big data models to find growth opportunities and generate actionable insights;
  • Monitor ongoing performance and perform ad hoc analysis for investigating issues.
  • Work closely with Commercial Managers, Marketing Managers, and Product Managers to define KPIs and success criteria, while helping team become fully data-driven by utilising the data for decision-making and prioritisation;
  • Coordination of activities with other departments (network and scheduling, sales, marketing and PR);
  • Preparing standard internal decks for various parts of the organization, relevant to each division's KPIs and targets.
  • Preparing standard external decks to ensure a shared assessment and understanding of partnership performance, trends and opportunities.
  • Pricing
  • Pricing management of Wego accommodation offers;
  • Use data analysis and research to improve pricing business rules to optimise key metrics;
  • Investigate and suggest new pricing techniques, continuously seeking to improve the quality of Wego pricing;
  • Collaborate with data team on recommendation engine to maximise the value created through pricing;
  • To enable data-driven decision making improve profitability & pricing analysis tools;
  • Competitor fare and capacity monitoring;
  • Short term and long term revenue forecasting;
Requirements:
  • 4 years+ of hands-on experience using data to drive business decisions;
  • At least 2 year's experience with pricing analysis in an OTA or a Hotel, as well as project management experience;
  • Highly analytical, data-driven, and has the ability to assemble, analyse and interpret data to influence decisions and communicate findings;
  • Technical requirements: SQL, developing data models and dashboards using BI tools like Looker, basic statistical knowledge;
  • Stakeholder management, clear communication, ability to work in a multicultural environment;
  • Proactive approach, a good sense of ownership, and a can-do attitude.
