Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, and control Issues relating to the accurate accounting of service users within the network and downstream systems, issues in capturing and fulfilling orders including errors in customer contracts, and service activation faults.
• Perform prepaid and postpaid usage assurance reconciliations to ensure end-to-end completeness.
• Perform CDR validations during the change implementation on any Network element.
• Perform voucher generation, activation, and utilization reconciliations.
• Analyze potential leakage and revenue loss systems, identify the root cause of the loss, and recommend corrections or controls that will minimize or eliminate the risk.
• Analyze existing MSC/MSX CDRs, Unified IN Tickets, Playmobile reports, Unified IN Dump, and HSS Dump gaps, and recommend corrections accordingly.
• Reconcile daily usage process from Network Equipment to Mediation to Rating to Billing / Settlement.
• Support finance on Interconnect disputes and settlements.
• Periodical designing of control points at value chain nodes according to the roadmap.
• Analyze various signaling messages (INAP, TCAP, SCCP, etc.) and troubleshoot billing issues.
• Analyze various data as required by other departments.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Marketing/ IN/Billing / VAS that have to do with tariffs/rates charging.
• Design test scripts and support in pre-launch testing of new products.
• Conduct an ongoing review of new offers and product launches to prevent usage errors.
• Write queries as needed to pull specific information to support ongoing initiatives of the Usage team.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in accounting, finance, IT, or related business area.
• Minimum of 2 \xe2\x80\x93 3 years of experience.
• Specific Revenue Assurance or telecommunications or technology industries experience is a plus but not required.
• Have an understanding of the telecommunications industry.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Intermediate or advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Ability to create queries in Microsoft Access or other databases.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
