Job Overview
As a Retail Sales Executive, you will play a dual role in both technical setup and customer-facing sales. Your primary responsibility will be to activate, configure, and provide Level 1 service for devices in-store. Alongside this, you will engage customers, upsell accessories, software, and protection packages, and manage inventory at your location. This role is ideal for tech-savvy candidates with a passion for retail and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities

• Unbox, activate, and complete the initial setup of smartphones, laptops, and IT devices
• Upsell accessories, antivirus software, Microsoft Office, screen protectors, gift cards, and service bundles
• Install essential software on laptops and mobile devices for walk-in customers
• Offer buyback options for old devices as part of the sales cycle
• Promote and sell myTechbench service packages to enhance post-purchase value
• Deliver Level 1 diagnostic and repair services for minor tech issues in-store
• Monitor and manage allocated stock at the assigned retail location
• Maintain accurate records of service activity, sales performance, and stock usage
• Ensure every customer interaction is professional, informative, and solution-driven

Job Requirements

• Minimum education: 12th grade or higher
• 1-2 years of in-store experience in sales, tech support, or device servicing
• Technical certifications (hardware, software, mobile servicing) are an added advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Customer-focused with a passion for technology
• Detail-oriented and dependable, able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced retail tech environment
