Job description: We are seeking an enthusiastic and outgoing Retail Sales Assistant top join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, driving sales, and maintaining a clean and organized store environment. Responsibilities: \xc2\xb7 Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent sales service \xc2\xb7 Assess customers\xe2\x80\x99 needs and provide assistance and information on product features \xc2\xb7 Welcome customers to the store and answer their queries \xc2\xb7 Follow and achieve department\xe2\x80\x99s sales goals on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis \xc2\xb7 \xe2\x80\x9cGo the extra mile\xe2\x80\x9d to drive sales \xc2\xb7 Maintain in-stock and presentable condition assigned areas \xc2\xb7 Actively seek out customers in store \xc2\xb7 Remain knowledgeable on products offered and discuss available options \xc2\xb7 Process POS (point of sale) purchases \xc2\xb7 Cross sell products \xc2\xb7 Handle returns of merchandise \xc2\xb7 Team up with co-workers to ensure proper customer service \xc2\xb7 Build productive trust relationships with customers \xc2\xb7 Comply with inventory control procedures \xc2\xb7 Suggest ways to improve sales (e.g. planning marketing activities, changing the store\xe2\x80\x99s design) \xc2\xb7 Proven work experience as a Retail Sales associate, Sales representative or similar role \xc2\xb7 Basic understanding of sales principles and customer service practices \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in English and Arabic \xc2\xb7 Basic Accounting \xc2\xb7 Working knowledge of customer and market dynamics and requirements \xc2\xb7 Track record of over-achieving sales quota \xc2\xb7 Hands-on experience with POS transactions \xc2\xb7 Familiarity with inventory procedures \xc2\xb7 Solid communication and interpersonal skills \xc2\xb7 Administrate the creation and publishing of relevant, original, high-quality social media content (for all channels and ads) \xc2\xb7 Identify and improve organizational development aspects that would improve social media content \xc2\xb7 Create a regular publishing schedule and promote content through social advertising. \xc2\xb7 Leverage the right tools to manage social media content. \xc2\xb7 A friendly and energetic personality with customer service focus \xc2\xb7 Ability to perform under pressure and address complaints in a timely manner \xc2\xb7 Availability to work flexible shifts Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent Previous retail sales experience in sports or fashion outlet is an added advantage Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic accounting skills and proficiency with computers and POS systems If you meet the requirements and are excited about the prospect of working in a dynamic retail environment, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
