In this challenging context of dynamic transition, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the Maison Chaumet’s strong growth in one of our Middle East network. What you'll be doing Based in the Dubai corporate office, the Retail Director will be responsible for driving the Maison's Middle East retail and wholesale development meeting business objectives while overseeing Boutique Managers and regional retail excellency. The Retail Director is responsible for setting up the business plan of the Maison alongside, commercial strategy, targets, and objectives in alignments with the General Manager. Main responsibilities:
In line with the General Manager vision, elaborate and develop the regional strategical plan and budget
Provide strong leadership and guidance to Management and Retail teams
Retail performance monitoring to ensure retail excellency across network and business development
Extensive customer centric approach and close collaborative work with Marketing and CRM teams
Retail & Operations: oversee ambitious regional retail network development plan
Demonstrate strong understanding of the industry, local culture, business environment, ability to analyze market trends, competitors’ activities
Collaborative work with Mar-Com teams on regional activations & sales support
Collaborative work with HR department in the talent recruitment, build strategical succession plans
Management of Merchandising Manager, and Sales, and Operations Team
What you’ll need to succeed
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent required
7+ years minimum of progressively responsible luxury retail management experience with P&L responsibility, ideally in the J&W industry
Multi-store experience or management of a retail network
Written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Fluency in English is a must and Arabic is a plus
Ability to travel across the region will be required on a monthly basis
Strategical thinking, leadership and vision
Analytical skills and strong commercial mindset
