Mission: Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Retail Design & VM Manager is responsible for the planning and execution of all stores and visual merchandizing activities for Puig brands (Carolina Herrera, Penhaligon’s, Paco Rabanne, Jean Paul Gaultier and Christian Louboutin Beauty) in the Middle East according to established lead times, excellence, and brands guidelines. The role leads and manage the Retail Design and VM team on end-to-end design, planning & execution of all VM projects. Functions and Responsibilities:
Deliver and implement the brands image across all point of sales including retail stores, permanent, semi-permanent, pop ups, and temporary spaces for all Puig brands
Project manage and coordinate the fit out for new stores opening and ongoing refits/refurbishment projects.
Define, monitor, and deliver the budget of the year, including CAPEX, ensuring strong communication of risks & opportunities - always remaining in control
Keep a close relation with the global brands teams working together on the projects. Influence brand teams to deliver a design in line with market and retailer needs.
Create briefs to enable clear communication with global brands teams and local suppliers
Communicates all business justifications with global teams for quick approval periods
Liaise with the global brands team on the Middle East personalization plan
Manage suppliers to ensure highest quality production and installations meeting projects deadlines and brand expectations.
Act as expert in material specifications and recommendations, signing off technical plans and samples before any production and installation, making sure that quality is assured
Liaise with retailers to get the approvals on renders and technical drawings, making sure brand image is not compromised
Conduct field visits to ensure perfect implementation of brand image, identify best practices and analyze competition activities.
Work with Commercial and Retail teams to identify new opportunities in stores and maximize visibility / impact for Puig brands.
Requirements:
Experience: Experience in space/retail design, ideally within the beauty sector, with project management and team management experience
Education: degree in design related field
Languages: Fluency in English
