Job Purpose

To oversee the daily front-of-house operations at Emirates BIO Farm's restaurant and ensure an exceptional, welcoming experience for families, school groups, and farm visitors. The Restaurant Supervisor works closely with the Head Chef to coordinate service, maintain quality, and represent the farm's organic, family-friendly values.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily restaurant service in close collaboration with the Head Chef. Lead and motivate the service team (waiters, baristas, and cashiers) to deliver friendly, efficient, and professional service. Welcome and assist guests, including families, school groups, and tourists, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience. Communicate effectively between kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and special requests politely and efficiently. Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper setup of the dining area before and during service. Support educational and farm experience events when needed (e.g., school tours, group meals). Monitor stock levels of service materials and coordinate with purchasing or kitchen for replenishment. Assist with opening and closing duties, cash handling, and daily reports. Uphold hygiene, food safety, and health & safety standards at all times. Promote Emirates BIO Farm's values of organic living, sustainability, and warm hospitality.
Skills & Qualifications

Proven experience as a

Restaurant Supervisor, Captain, or Senior Waiter

. Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills. Friendly and approachable personality suited to families and children. Ability to handle large groups (especially school visits) with patience and professionalism. Good coordination and teamwork with kitchen and service staff. Fluent in

English

(knowledge of

Arabic

or other languages is an advantage). Good knowledge of restaurant service standards and customer care. Basic POS and cash handling skills. Flexible to work weekends, holidays, and busy visitor days.

Preferred:

Interest or background in organic food, education, or sustainability.
