Job Summary



We are looking for a friendly, professional, and well-presented

Hostess

to be the first point of contact for our guests. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a warm personality, and the ability to create a welcoming first impression. As a Hostess, you will play a key role in ensuring a smooth guest experience from arrival to seating.

Responsibilities



Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables in a courteous and professional manner Manage reservations, waiting lists, and table assignments efficiently Coordinate with the service and kitchen teams to ensure smooth table turnover Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception and waiting area Assist guests with inquiries and provide basic menu information Handle guest concerns politely and escalate when necessary Uphold James Cafe's service standards and hospitality values

Requirements



Previous experience as a Hostess or in a customer-facing hospitality role is preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Professional appearance and positive attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment Strong organizational and multitasking skills Fluency in English is required;

Spanish, French, or German language skills are a plus

Passion for delivering excellent guest service
