Restaurant Hostess

We are seeking a friendly and professional Restaurant Hostess to join our client\xe2\x80\x99s team. As a Restaurant Hostess, you will be the first point of contact for their guests, greeting them warmly and ensuring they have an exceptional dining experience. Your main responsibilities will include managing reservations, seating guests, and providing accurate wait times. The ideal candidate is outgoing, organized, and possesses excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression of the restaurant.

Manage reservations and accurately record guest information.

Coordinate with the restaurant staff to ensure efficient table turnover and timely seating of guests.

Maintain a clean and organized hostess station, ensuring menus and promotional materials are readily available.

Communicate with guests to estimate wait times and provide updates on table availability.

Accommodate special requests and handle any guest concerns or complaints with professionalism and courtesy.

Assist in maintaining a calm and pleasant atmosphere in the waiting area by managing guest flow and minimizing congestion.

Collaborate with the wait staff to ensure smooth communication and efficient service.

Stay updated on the restaurant\'s offerings, including daily specials, menu changes, and promotions.

Provide general assistance to guests, including directions to facilities, restrooms, and coat check.

Requirements:

Previous experience as a hostess or in a customer service role is preferred.

Previous experience as a hostess in a well-known restaurant here in Dubai is preferred.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage guests and provide exceptional service.

Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure and handle difficult situations with tact and professionalism.

A positive and friendly attitude, with a genuine passion for hospitality.

Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Familiarity with reservation management systems and basic computer skills.

Knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including dietary restrictions and special requests, is a plus.

Candidates with Arabic restaurant experience will be preferred.

Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent.
