Our successful F&B Hostesses ...

• manage all tasks of service preparation, including meeting and briefings, promotion specs, menus, wine lists, and operating equipment
• access and interpret environmental, hygiene and safety policies and legislative requirements for efficient implementation
• fulfil service requirements promptly and with a positive approach
• build a competent and motivated team across all departments through effective communications, and confident and caring leadership
• work as part of a team or individually to deliver high quality standards.
• ensure excellent customer service levels are maintained when engaging with guest and seeing to the guest requests
• ensure all administrative functions of the guest services areas are fulfilled accurately and efficiently, with strict adherence to the hotel's standards and procedures
• manage reservation systems
• greet and seat guests
• handle guest complaints . At least one year's experience in similar type of industry and position
• Must have worked and have knowledge of all day and/or fine dining
• Must be able to work shifts
• Be able to liaise with guests
• Be able to make and follow up on guest bookings
• Have knowledge of POS Micros
• Be able to handle cash transactions
• Computer competancy
