The Company focuses on developing a range of projects across the mining value chain, from upstream and downstream through its subsidiaries and developing projects related to mining. This is done by focusing on a number of strategic minerals found in the Sultanate of Oman including metallic minerals such as gold, copper and chromite as well as industrial minerals such as dolomite, gypsum, and limestone.

About the Job

Seeking a Resource Estimation and Modelling Manager to join our growing team. This role requires a highly skilled Resource Geologist to take full responsibility for geological modeling, resource estimation, and contributions to reserve evaluation with the preparation of related code-compliant reports. As a suitably qualified and experienced professional, you will use specialized and appropriately customized software to develop geological resource evaluations of exploration and operational projects. You will be an integral part of a technical team including Senior Mining Engineers, Senior Geologists, a number of consultants, and Project Development and Business Development teams through various project execution phases (scoping, pre-feasibility, feasibility, mining operation). You will also conduct regular site visits to ensure project success. Duties and Responsibilities

1. Perform directly and provide guidance to our geologists in brownfield exploration and resource estimation; including, geological data quality assurance, sampling data QAQC, geological modelling, geo-statistics, infill-resource drilling programs, mineral resource classification, production geology, resource reconciliation and resource risks and opportunities.

2. Ensure compliance of mineral resource estimates following international professional standards (e.g.JORC, NI43101)

and government regulations for public disclosures.

3. Effective evaluation and reporting of resources.

4. Producing or updating of existing resource models with newly acquired data.

5. Initiating, leading, coordinating and reviewing scoping, pre-feasibility and feasibility studies by working with BD & PD teams plus consultants

6. Reporting and presenting as required for project deliverables.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in geology or geo-statistics and/or geological engineering

Minimum 5 years' experience in resource modelling and estimation of various projects

Special Skills & Knowledge:

-Registration or eligibility to register as a Professional Engineer or Geoscientist

-Industry recognition as an expert in geology and resource estimation

-Ability to perform high quality resource estimates.

-Ability to identify, plan, develop and achieve brownfield exploration drilling programs

-Exploration data review and QA/QC analysis

-Experience with 3D modelling software and development of geological models (Ideally extensive use of Micromine)

-Proficiency using GIS packages.

-Experience in due diligence activities and auditing.

-NI 43-101, JORC Technical reporting.

High level of business understanding is required.
