Regularly patrol resort property, including guest rooms, public areas, parking lots, and outdoor spaces, ensuring all areas are secure.
Monitor surveillance systems (CCTV, alarms) to detect and prevent suspicious activity, theft, or vandalism.
Conduct routine checks of doors, windows, gates, and security equipment to ensure they are functioning properly.
2. Guest and Staff Safety:
Act as a visible deterrent to potential criminal activity or disorderly conduct, maintaining a reassuring presence for guests.
Respond to emergencies such as medical incidents, fires, or accidents, and assist with evacuations when necessary.
Address guest complaints or concerns related to safety and security, providing information and assistance as needed.
Handle disturbances or conflicts between guests or staff and attempt to resolve them peacefully.
3. Access Control:
Enforce resort policies regarding access to restricted areas (e.g., employee-only zones, VIP areas).
Verify the identification of individuals seeking entry to the resort or restricted areas, ensuring that only authorized people are allowed access.
Monitor guest check-in/check-out procedures to ensure only registered guests are on the property.
4. Incident Response and Reporting:
Respond to alarms, incidents, or disturbances in a timely and professional manner.
Document incidents, security breaches, and accidents thoroughly, providing detailed reports to management or law enforcement when necessary.
Investigate incidents such as theft, vandalism, or suspicious behavior, working with law enforcement as needed.
5. Emergency Preparedness:
Be trained and ready to assist in emergency situations, including fire evacuations, medical emergencies, or natural disasters.
Maintain knowledge of resort evacuation routes, emergency exits, and safety protocols.
Provide first aid or CPR if necessary and assist medical personnel until they arrive.
6. Customer Service:
Maintain a courteous, professional, and approachable attitude toward guests and staff.
Provide assistance to guests, including directions to resort amenities, general information about services, and answering security-related queries.
Remain calm and professional in difficult or high-pressure situations.
7. Property Protection:
Ensure that resort property is secure and well-maintained, including checking for damages, security breaches, or any safety hazards.
Monitor parking areas, ensuring guests follow resort parking policies and preventing unauthorized vehicles from entering.
8. Collaboration with Management:
Communicate effectively with resort management and other departments to report security issues, suggest improvements, or address concerns.
Participate in regular security briefings and training sessions to stay current with security protocols and procedures.
