Job description We are searching for a dedicated, reliable and compassionate RESIDENT PRIVATE NURSE for a Romanian Family based in Dubai. The candidate will be assisting a 78y.o. semi independent lady, able to walk assisted by cane, with continuous medical and recovery care. her major chronic ailments are hypertension, operated pancreatic neoplasm, cardiac arrhythmia, anticoagulant treatment and pre-diabetic lifestyle. The Responsibilities shall include, in order of importance and repeatability:

• Assisting patient in his movements; sitting, standing, and going to washroom
• Handling personal grooming and hygiene
• Monitoring of blood pressure, blood sugar and administering oral medication, food on time (3 main meals + 2 snacks) and IV (if necessary)
• Testing for muscle weakness, bedsores, and any signs of infection
• Inspecting possible signs of wounds (swollen feet, skin ulcerations or itching)
• Assisting patient with basic physiotherapy movements, depending on patient pain tolerance
• Maintaining basic care records, ensuring accuracy (BP and Blood Sugar) monitoring
• Constant communication of any problems or issues to the patient's family members
• Ability to understand possible emergency issues even in absence of language communication and immediately notify the main family member
• Providing suggestions for improved healthcare to family members of the patient
• Monitoring of patient recovery and compiling the reports for the Physician.

What we require:

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or similar
• Relevant license and certification, ideally DHA authorized
• At least 6-8 hours daily
• A completed apprenticeship or experience in a similar role
• Excellent observational and problem-solving skills
• The ability to follow instructions but also able to act independently if necessary
• Excellent reporting writing skills
• Proficient in English (reading, writing and speaking)
• Excellent physical and mental strength
• Active listening skills and empathy
