We are seeking a dedicated and experienced

Resident Engineer / Technician

with expertise in

ELV (Extra Low Voltage) systems

to support and oversee project implementation and maintenance within the Sharjah area. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site supervision, technical troubleshooting, installation, and client coordination, ensuring the successful delivery of ELV projects and services.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and support the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of ELV systems, including but not limited to: CCTV Access Control Public Address (PA) Structured Cabling Fire Alarm Intercom and SMATV systems Nurse Call Act as the primary on-site technical representative and point of contact for clients and contractors. Perform system diagnostics, fault finding, and preventive maintenance activities. Ensure all installations comply with design drawings, project specifications, and local authority regulations. Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and suppliers to ensure timely execution of work. Maintain proper documentation of work, including daily progress reports, test results, as-built drawings, and client approvals. Provide technical support and on-call response for urgent service or troubleshooting requests in the Sharjah area. Ensure compliance with safety procedures, industry standards, and company protocols on-site.

Requirements:

Education:

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Communication Engineering or a related field.

Experience:

2-5 years of hands-on experience with ELV systems installation, testing, and maintenance.

Technical Skills:

Strong knowledge of ELV systems and integration practices. Proficient in reading and understanding ELV system schematics and shop drawings. Ability to use testing tools and software relevant to ELV systems.

Other Requirements:

Must reside in Sharjah. Valid UAE Driving License is a strong advantage. Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Familiarity with local authority standards (e.g., Sharjah Civil Defence requirements).
