Job Title: Resident Engineer - Road Projects

Location: Ajman - UAE

Al Sultan Engineering Consultants is currently hiring a Resident Engineer - Civil (Road Projects) to lead and supervise road and infrastructure developments in Ajman. This is a senior-level, full-time role requiring strong expertise in civil engineering, project supervision, and local authority coordination.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage and supervise all on-site construction activities for road and infrastructure projects. Ensure compliance with design specifications, project timelines, and contractual obligations. Monitor contractors and subcontractors, resolving technical and logistical challenges as they arise. Conduct regular site inspections and progress meetings with stakeholders, developers, and government authorities. Ensure all works comply with local authority standards and successfully manage approval processes. Lead quality assurance and quality control (QA/QC) efforts to uphold high construction standards. Oversee Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) implementation on site. Prepare and submit detailed progress reports, risk assessments, and cost control analysis. Act as the primary liaison with clients, contractors, and consultants throughout project execution.
Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (or related field). Minimum 10 years of experience in road and infrastructure projects within the UAE/GCC. In-depth knowledge of UAE road construction regulations and authority requirements. Proven leadership and team coordination capabilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus). Valid UAE Driving License (required).
