Resident Engineer - Industrial Projects (Consultancy)

We are seeking an experienced

Resident Engineer

to represent the Consultant on site for

industrial projects

in Ras Al Khaimah. The role involves overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with contractual and technical requirements, and coordinating with all project stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

Act as the Consultant's site representative for

industrial facilities

(factories, warehouses, plants, utilities). Supervise construction works in line with approved drawings, specifications, contract conditions, and relevant standards. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, clients, and local authorities. Review and approve shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and construction schedules. Monitor project progress, quality, and HSE compliance. Conduct site inspections and ensure closure of NCRs and observations. Chair site coordination meetings and prepare progress and technical reports. Assist with contract administration including variations, claims, and EOT assessments. Oversee testing, commissioning, snagging, and final handover activities.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical).

Minimum 10+ years of experience

, with solid

consultancy-side experience

. Proven background in

industrial projects

. Good knowledge of construction supervision, QA/QC, HSE, and FIDIC contracts. Strong leadership, coordination, and reporting skills. UAE or GCC experience preferred.
