About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (RE) to join our clients team in Ras Al Khaimah. The successful candidate will oversee and manage civil engineering projects, ensuring high standards of quality, compliance, and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the primary site representative, ensuring compliance with contract specifications and design intent.
- Supervise construction activities, ensuring adherence to project timelines, quality standards, and safety regulations.
- Manage site inspections, progress reporting, and coordination with contractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
- Provide technical guidance, resolve site issues, and implement corrective actions where required.
- Review drawings, materials, and method statements to ensure alignment with project requirements.
- Lead progress meetings and maintain effective communication with clients and project teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (mandatory).
- Minimum 15 years of overall experience in civil engineering.
- At least 10 years in a supervision/Resident Engineer role, preferably within the UAE or GCC.
- Strong knowledge of construction supervision, QA/QC procedures, and local authority regulations.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
