Resident Engineer

to join our dynamic team.


This role will lead and supervise all on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered in full compliance with contract requirements, design specifications, and quality standards. The ideal candidate will bring extensive expertise in high-rise or large-scale developments within the UAE, with strong leadership and technical capabilities.

Key Responsibilities



Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with the contract documents, drawings, and specifications Supervise contractors, subcontractors, and site personnel to ensure proper execution of works Coordinate with consultants, project managers, and the contractor's team to resolve technical and construction issues on-site Monitor and report project progress, quality, safety compliance, and budget adherence Review and approve method statements, shop drawings, materials, and technical submittals Conduct regular site inspections and issue site memos or NCRs as needed to ensure compliance and rectify deficiencies Ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations Maintain daily and weekly site reports, including photographic documentation Attend site coordination meetings and provide updates to stakeholders Support testing and commissioning processes for completed works Serve as the point of contact between the client and the contractor for all site-related matters Perform the obligations of Engineer as per FIDIC Track and report the cost and progress against the baseline programme and budget

Requirements



Qualifications & Experience



Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline (Master's degree is a plus) Minimum 15 years of construction supervision experience, including at least 5 years as a Resident Engineer in the UAE Proven track record in high-rise or large-scale commercial/residential projects Strong knowledge of local codes (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.) and international construction standards Familiarity with authority approvals and site procedures in Dubai Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and relevant project tracking tools UAE Society of Engineers membership and Dubai Municipality approval preferred Strong communication skills in English; Arabic language is an advantage
