Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Resident Engineer to oversee and manage engineering projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management and engineering principles, with a focus on wastewater treatment and water treatment systems. This role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Manage and supervise construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and compliance with design specifications and safety standards. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and schematics for project updates and stakeholder communication. Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to resolve design issues and implement solutions. Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and Revit for design reviews and project management tasks. Perform construction estimating to assist in budgeting and resource allocation. Conduct land surveying as necessary to support project planning and execution. Ensure all engineering practices comply with local, state, and federal regulations related to wastewater treatment systems.

Skills

Proficiency in Bluebeam and Revit for project documentation and design management. Strong understanding of construction estimating principles. Knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and water treatment systems. Excellent technical writing skills for creating clear reports and documentation. Ability to read and interpret schematics effectively. Familiarity with HEC (Hydrologic Engineering Center) software is a plus. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members, clients, and stakeholders.
