Resident Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Resident Engineer to oversee and manage construction activities on-site, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with design specifications, quality standards, and local regulations. Must be based UAE and with experience in RAK

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily construction activities to ensure adherence to project plans and specifications. Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants to maintain project timelines and budgets. Conduct regular site inspections and quality control checks to ensure compliance with building codes and regulations. Review and approve construction drawings, change orders, and technical submittals. Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation, including progress reports, site diaries, and meeting minutes. Identify and resolve technical issues that arise during construction, proposing innovative solutions when necessary. Manage and mentor junior engineering staff, fostering their professional development. Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to obtain necessary permits and approvals. Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment. Participate in project meetings and provide regular updates to senior management and clients.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of experience in building projects, with a proven track record of successful project delivery. Extensive knowledge of construction methodologies, building codes, and industry standards. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit. Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams. Demonstrated experience in managing construction teams and coordinating with various stakeholders. In-depth understanding of quality control and assurance processes in the construction industry. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Willingness to work on-site and travel as required within the UAE
