We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced

Resident Engineer

to join our team in Dubai, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring that all construction activities comply with the approved drawings, specifications, and regulatory standards. The Resident Engineer will play a key role in coordinating between the contractor, consultant, and client to ensure timely and quality delivery of the project.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage all on-site construction activities and ensure project milestones are achieved as per schedule. Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and regulations. Lead and coordinate with site inspectors, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure construction quality and safety. Monitor contractor's performance and ensure timely resolution of any technical or site-related issues. Review method statements, materials submittals, and shop drawings. Conduct regular site inspections and prepare progress reports. Liaise with client representatives and attend project meetings as required. Ensure proper documentation and maintain accurate project records. Identify and mitigate risks related to project execution.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master's degree is a plus). Minimum

10-15 years of overall experience

in the construction industry, with at least

6-7 years of proven experience in the UAE

in a similar role. Must have prior experience with

infrastructure, residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments

. Strong knowledge of local construction regulations and standards. Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively. Proficient in Microsoft Office and relevant engineering software.

Preferred Qualifications:

Membership in a recognized professional engineering body (e.g., UAE Society of Engineers, PMI, ICE, etc.). Previous experience with government or semi-government projects in the UAE is an added advantage. Valid UAE Driving License is preferred.
