We are seeking an experienced

Resident Engineer

with at least

15 years of experience

in the construction and engineering industry, with

5+ years of direct experience working in Dubai,

to manage the day-to-day operations of construction projects, ensuring that design and quality standards are met. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing residential and hotel building sites.

Key Responsibilities

:

Oversee the construction of residential buildings and hotel projects, ensuring compliance with engineering standards, project specifications, and quality control processes. Manage the day-to-day operations at the project site, ensuring the efficient coordination of resources, contractors, and subcontractors. Act as the primary point of contact for all site-related technical issues and liaise with architects, contractors, and consultants. Provide technical direction and supervision to the engineering team on-site. Ensure that all construction activities comply with local regulations, codes, and safety standards. Monitor project progress, timelines, and budgets, addressing potential delays or issues in a timely manner. Review and approve material and equipment submittals, shop drawings, and other technical documents. Provide leadership, mentorship, and technical expertise to junior engineers and site staff.

Requirements

:

Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least 5 years as Consultant in UAE. Strong project management skills and a proven ability to lead site teams. Experience in residential and hotel construction projects. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (Master's degree preferred). Strong understanding of local construction codes, regulations, and safety standards in Dubai. Exceptional problem-solving, leadership, and communication skills. Proficient in project management software and MS Office Suite. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines without compromising quality.
