Job Description

Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Residence Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge and hands-on experience with HPE Synergy, HPE 3PAR, and a working understanding of Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) (Optional) . As a Residence Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation, maintenance, and optimization of IT infrastructure, primarily focusing on HPE technologies and related systems.

Key Responsibilities:

1. HPE Synergy Management:

o Oversee the deployment, configuration, and management of HPE Synergy infrastructure.

o Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Synergy environment.

o Implement firmware updates, patches, and upgrades as needed.

o Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to HPE Synergy.

2. HPE 3PAR Storage Management:

o Manage and optimize HPE 3PAR storage arrays, ensuring data integrity and availability.

o Perform routine storage provisioning, de-provisioning, and expansion activities.

o Monitor storage performance and implement necessary adjustments to maintain optimal performance.

o Ensure regular backups and disaster recovery procedures are in place and tested.

3. Microsoft SCCM Knowledge: (Optional)

o Assist in the administration and maintenance of Microsoft SCCM environments.

o Support software distribution, patch management, and device management activities.

o Collaborate with the SCCM team to integrate HPE Synergy and 3PAR systems with SCCM where applicable.

4. Incident Management and Support:

o Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for HPE Synergy, 3PAR, and related systems.

o Respond to and resolve incidents, problems, and service requests in a timely manner.

o Work closely with vendors and support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.

5. Documentation and Reporting:

o Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of the IT infrastructure, configurations, and procedures.

o Prepare regular reports on system performance, incidents, and maintenance activities.

o Provide recommendations for infrastructure improvements and optimizations.

6. Collaboration and Communication:

o Work closely with other IT teams, including network, security, and applications, to ensure seamless operations.

o Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide updates on project status, incidents, and resolutions.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on HPE Synergy and HPE 3PAR. Strong understanding of HPE Synergy architecture, management tools, and best practices. Experience with HPE 3PAR storage administration, including provisioning, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Certifications (Preferred):

HPE ASE - Synergy Solutions Integrator V1 or V2.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
