As a

Resident Engineer - Site Supervision

, you'll be the boots on the ground, the brain behind the build, the sentinel at the frontier of form and function. You'll champion design intent, bring clarity to complexity, and hold the line where vision meets reality.

What You'll Do:

Serve as

on-site authority

, representing the design office with clarity and command across multiple UAE projects. Oversee day-to-day

site supervision and quality assurance

--ensuring execution aligns with approved drawings, specs, and building codes.

Lead and coordinate

with contractors, consultants, and sub-consultants to maintain construction progress, safety, and compliance. Respond swiftly to

RFIs, RFAs, and technical queries

, preserving design intent while navigating practical challenges. Monitor and document

site activities

, conducting routine inspections, creating snag lists, and issuing non-compliance reports as required. Interface with local authorities (DM, DDA, Trakhees, etc.) to ensure all work adheres to regulatory requirements and is inspection-ready. Provide

weekly and milestone-based reporting

to the project manager and design team--highlighting risks, delays, or deviations. Support in the evaluation and implementation of

value engineering

solutions that optimize cost without compromising quality. Act as the

eyes and ears

of the project--balancing technical oversight with a commitment to safety, time, and excellence.

What You Bring:

Bachelor's degree

in Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree is an asset.

Minimum 10 years

of site-based experience within real estate, architecture, or high-rise development projects in the UAE. Strong understanding of

Dubai regulatory bodies

and site protocols (DM, DDA, Trakhees, EHS, Civil Defense, etc.). Proven ability to lead site supervision teams and interface with contractors and consultants under pressure. Proficiency in

AutoCAD

, MS Office, and project tracking tools (MS Project or Primavera preferred). Fluent in

construction documentation

, contract review, QA/QC methods, and site logistics. Exceptional written and verbal communication--capable of issuing concise reports, instructions, and memos. Ability to

travel across the UAE

as per project requirements. Registered with UAE authorities or capable of obtaining site supervision approval is a plus. Sharp judgment, professional resilience, and a mindset tuned to
