We are looking for an experienced and qualified

Asst Resident Engineer OR Civil Engineer

to take charge of overseeing the complete lifecycle of major construction projects--from execution to final handover. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, quality control expertise, and a results-driven approach aligned with regulatory standards and contractual commitments. This is a pivotal role requiring coordination across multiple stakeholders to ensure timely, high-quality, and compliant project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

Review and approve engineering submissions including shop drawings, material and technical submittals, method statements, and mock-ups. Evaluate and authorize RFIs (Requests for Information) and CVIs (Confirmation of Verbal Instructions) for technical accuracy and constructability. Validate Work Inspections, Material Inspections, and other on-site inspection processes in coordination with QA/QC teams. Assess and certify payment applications, variation orders, extension of time (EOT) claims, and other contractual submissions from main and sub-contractors. Review and approve project schedules including the baseline program, detailed construction schedule, and look-ahead plans Identify and document non-compliance through NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and Site Observations.

Candidate Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Civil / Architectural / MEP Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum 14+ years of relevant experience in project execution and management within the construction or consultancy industry. Strong understanding of contractual frameworks, project control systems, QA/QC standards, and HSE requirements. Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Proficient in project management tools (Primavera, MS Project) and documentation control systems.
