Job Title: Resident Engineer - Architect

Location: Dubai, UAE

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer - Architect with a strong consultancy background and extensive onsite experience within the GCC. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the works on site, ensuring compliance with approved designs, specifications, and quality standards throughout all construction phases.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise and manage all site activities for building projects.

Act as the main point of coordination between the client, consultants, and contractors.

Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, specifications, and authority regulations.

Review and approve shop drawings, material submittals, mock-ups, and samples.

Monitor site progress and ensure works are executed as per design intent and quality standards.

Implement and enforce quality control and site safety requirements related to architectural works.

Identify, report, and resolve design, coordination, and site issues in a timely manner.

Coordinate with all disciplines to ensure seamless project execution.

Provide leadership, guidance, and mentoring to site-based architectural teams.

Prepare and submit progress reports, site instructions, and technical documentation.

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (Master's degree preferred).

Minimum 15 years of professional experience, including at least 10 years in the GCC.

Strong experience working with consultancy firms.

Proven track record supervising large-scale building projects.

Extensive onsite experience with strong attention to detail and design coordination skills.

Solid knowledge of local authority requirements, building codes, and architectural standards.

Excellent communication, coordination, leadership, and reporting skills.

Professional registration or chartership is an advantage.
