Position Overview
Accor is hiring a Reservations Agent to join its team in Dubai. The role is responsible for handling reservation requests efficiently, ensuring accuracy in bookings, and maximizing revenue through upselling techniques. The position requires strong communication skills, guest-focused service, and the ability to coordinate effectively with other departments to provide a seamless booking experience.

Core Duties

  • Respond to guest inquiries regarding rates, room types, facilities, and services
  • Process reservations accurately, securing necessary guest information and special requests
  • Maintain accurate records of advance deposits, group bookings, and billing procedures
  • Monitor daily inventory and update availability to optimize occupancy and room rates
  • Apply upselling and cross-selling techniques to maximize revenue
  • Communicate cancellation and guarantee policies clearly to guests
  • Maintain reservation files and correspondence in an organized manner
  • Coordinate with Front Office, Sales, and Accounts teams for smooth operations
  • Assist with large events, hotel functions, and new openings when required
  • Provide confirmation and cancellation details to guests via phone or email promptly
  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, departmental goals, and brand standards
  • Deliver professional guest service while resolving inquiries and requests with efficiency
Candidate Profile
  • Minimum one year of experience in a similar role within a 5-star hotel
  • High school degree required; hospitality-related education preferred
  • Prior experience with Opera or related property management systems is an advantage
  • Guest-focused personality with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and organizational skills
  • Fluency in English required; additional languages are a plus
