Job Description

Job Summary:
The Reservations Agent (Arabic Speaker) is responsible for handling reservation requests from guests and travel agents, primarily in Arabic and English. The role involves providing excellent customer service, managing bookings, and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of reservations for hotels, flights, or other travel-related services.
Key Responsibilities: * Reservation Handling:

  • Process reservations via phone, email, chat, or online platforms.
  • Assist Arabic-speaking clients with booking inquiries, modifications, and cancellations.
  • Ensure all reservation details are accurately entered into the system.
  • Customer Service:
  • Provide friendly, professional, and prompt assistance to guests.
  • Address customer concerns, complaints, and special requests effectively.
  • Offer recommendations on services, promotions, and upgrades.
  • Communication:
  • Communicate clearly in Arabic and English (both written and verbal).
  • Liaise with other departments (front desk, sales, housekeeping) to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks:
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of room rates, packages, and policies.
  • Generate reports on bookings, cancellations, and no-shows as required.
  • Follow company procedures for payment processing and data security.
  • Sales & Upselling:
  • Promote special offers, packages, and loyalty programs.
  • Maximize revenue by upselling higher-tier rooms or additional services.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Language: Fluent in Arabic and English (mandatory).
  • Experience: Previous experience in reservations, hospitality, or customer service preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Opera) and MS Office.
  • Soft Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
  • Patience and cultural sensitivity when dealing with diverse clients.
  • Availability: Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Tourism, or related field.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.
