A Reservations Agent is responsible for assisting customers with booking reservations for accommodation, transportation, and other services. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. Reservations Agents must be knowledgeable about the products and services offered by the company and be able to effectively upsell and cross-sell to increase revenue. They must also ensure accurate and timely processing of reservations to meet customer needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers in booking reservations over the phone, email, or online platforms. Provide information about available services, rates, and packages to customers. Upsell and cross-sell additional services or upgrades to enhance customer experience. Process reservations accurately in the system and confirm bookings with customers. Handle customer inquiries, issues, and complaints in a professional and courteous manner. Coordinate with other departments to ensure special requests or arrangements are met. Maintain a positive relationship with customers to encourage repeat business and referrals. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to reservations and customer service. Work collaboratively with team members to achieve department goals and targets. Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and market changes to provide informed recommendations to customers. Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required, associate's or bachelor's degree preferred. Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in customer service or hospitality industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
