Job Description

The Reservations Supervisor position is essential to maximizing our hotel revenue and our staff's potential.

Reporting to the Reservations Manager, responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Support the Reservations team in meeting departmental goals (e.g., employee engagement, reputation performance score, reservations accuracy, revPar, etc.) by helping to manage the daily operations of the reservations department and filling in for the reservations manager when needed.

-Lead the colleagues in reservations by ensuring that the right people are hired, trained, and scheduled.

-Reservation agents should be scheduled to work all shifts, produce the anticipated output, and finish the biweekly payroll.

-To ensure that service standards and policies are upheld, oversee departmental coworkers.

-Conduct insightful performance reviews, offer ongoing feedback to colleagues in reservations, and create opportunities for learning and growth.

-As needed, actively participate in committees for the hotel and other departments.

-By taking a keen interest in your team members' health and growth, you can help create an effective and motivated workforce.

-Assure the timely and accurate completion of all departmental reports and communications.

-To maintain inventory accuracy, work closely with the front office and sales departments.

-To keep track of inventories and resolve problematic dates, collaborate with the director of revenue.

-Create and keep up existing and new rate offerings.

-Daily assistance is provided to tour, leisure, and group reservations agents to ensure jobs are finished quickly and correctly.

-Maintain a clean and secure workplace, and take an active role in health and safety efforts.

-Follow all environmental policies and programs at the hotel.
