The resort features 195 rooms and suites with spectacular ocean views, including ten opulent summerhouses and villas featuring private plunge pools and private beach access.

About the Job:




An opportunity has arisen for a Reservation Sales Agent - Reservation to join Jumeirah Muscat Bay. The main duties and responsibilities of this role are:

Respond to all emails within 24 hours, prioritizing current and upcoming bookings, while maintaining professional email and telephone etiquette at all times. Answer incoming calls within three rings using proper greetings and in compliance with IFH & LQA standards, ensuring a professional guest experience. Collect, verify, and update complete guest details in Opera (repeat guest status, contact details, passport copies, flight information, preferences, and special occasions) and carefully review all correspondence for instructions and special requests, ensuring correct communication to all concerned departments. Ensure all reservations are guaranteed with payment before the cancellation deadline; actively follow up on no-shows and unresponsive guests, process cancellations when required, apply applicable no-show charges, and update the Manager on status. Communicate all last-minute changes (new bookings, cancellations, amendments) promptly; reconcile commissionable bookings on extranets when required, apply correct partner rates, ensure invoices match Opera records, protect guest and company data, and conduct quality checks on room rates to avoid errors or rebates.

About you



The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:

A High School Diploma is essential, while a Bachelor's Degree in Hotel Management or a related field is preferred. A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a similar position within a luxury 5-star hospitality environment is desirable. The candidate must have intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Strong problem-solving ability along with leadership and team management skills is required. The individual should also be creative, detail-oriented, and capable of managing projects effectively.
