Job Title: Restaurant Reservations Manager

The Restaurant Reservations Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating all reservation functions of the restaurant. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an ability to manage multiple tasks at once, and a keen focus on providing superior customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all restaurant reservations, ensuring all bookings are accurately recorded and confirmed.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding reservations, menu options, dietary restrictions, and other related concerns.
• Coordinate closely with dining room staff to ensure smooth operations and optimal customer experience.
• Use reservation and customer management software efficiently to manage bookings, cancellations, waitlists, and special requests.
• Regularly update and maintain the restaurant\'s reservation policies and procedures.
• Ensure prompt and courteous handling of all guest requests and complaints.
• Analyze reservation trends and provide reports to the management team.
• Collaborate with the marketing team for any promotional events or special dining experiences that may impact reservations.
• Manage guest information databases, ensuring data accuracy and privacy.
• Train staff on reservation procedures, including handling phone calls, managing customer requests, and using booking software.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or relevant field.
• Proven experience in a reservations role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
• Excellent understanding of reservation procedures and restaurant operations.
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on delivering high-quality dining experiences.
• Proficiency in reservation management software and customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle stressful situations and resolve issues professionally.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industry.
• Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Preferred Skills:

• Multilingual skills are advantageous.
• Experience in a high-volume or fine-dining restaurant.
• Knowledge of online booking platforms.
• Experience in staff training and development.
