A well reputed hotel in Sharjah required \xe2\x80\x9cReservation Agent\xe2\x80\x9d Responsibilities: Efficiently handle room reservations through various channels, including phone, email, and online platforms. Engage with guests in a professional and friendly manner, actively listening to their needs and recommending suitable room options. Provide accurate information about room availability, rates, and hotel amenities to assist guests in making informed decisions. Process reservations accurately and promptly in our reservation system, ensuring all relevant details are recorded and confirmed. Collaborate with other departments, such as Housekeeping and Front Desk, to coordinate guest requests and ensure seamless operations. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a courteous and timely manner, striving for effective resolution. Stay up to date with hotel policies, procedures, and promotions to provide accurate and consistent information to guests. Maintain organized records of reservations, cancellations, \'no-shows\' and special requests, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality. Requirements: Previous experience in the hospitality industry. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Attention to detail and accuracy in processing reservations and maintaining records. Proficient computer skills, including experience with reservation software and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances. Flexibility to work in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required in a hotel environment. A passion for delivering exceptional service and creating positive guest experiences.
