Reservation Agent
Job Summary:
The Reservation Agent is the first point of contact for many guests, handling incoming inquiries and converting them into confirmed bookings. This role requires excellent communication skills and a strong sales focus.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls, emails, and online inquiries regarding room availability, rates, and amenities.
  • Accurately process reservations, modifications, and cancellations using the hotel's property management system (PMS).
  • Upsell room categories and promote hotel services (e.g., spa, dining).
  • Handle special requests (e.g., room preferences, dietary needs) and ensure they are recorded accurately.
  • Maintain knowledge of current promotions, packages, and policies.
  • Prepare and send confirmation emails to guests.
Qualifications & Skills:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in a reservations, call center, or front office role is preferred.
  • Excellent telephone etiquette and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer systems and typing.
  • Strong sales ability and attention to detail.
