Your Role and Responsibilities
A Research Scientist (RS) generates highly innovative ideas and concepts (theoretical or experimental) while performing advanced scientific or engineering tasks resulting in highly complex, original and creative scientific or engineering achievements. Contributes to or leads a program in engineering, services, or science with significant positive impact. Overall, delvers significant scientific proficiency and/or potential as an expert in the field.

Strategy: Understands the standard mission of the professional group/department and vision in own area of competence. Participates in overall departmental program planning.

Area of control & Influence: Works on special projects, or leads small teams, or manages routine technical/ operational activities or departments (national or international). Participates in defining and deciding project objectives. Generally, controls own work priorities and methods requiring tradeoffs.

Accountability - Impact on Business : Accountable for individual or team, or department results, and for the impact of the results on functional activities.
Contributes by supporting activities that are subject to business measurements, impact customer satisfaction, or impact immediate costs or expenses

Client Impact: Participates in client related research. Accountable for satisfactory completion of individual technical objectives.

Internal/External Eminence: Participates or Leads in professional technical communities and societies ( program committee member, peer reviewing). Recognized as an expert in an area within the lab
