Job Responsibilities:
\xe2\x80\x93 Research and develop new products based on market requirements; this may include the modification of existing products or the production of new ones.
\xe2\x80\x93 Research and develop new techniques to enhance the quality of existing products or reduce the cost of production.
\xe2\x80\x93 Conduct certain laboratory tests and analyses.
\xe2\x80\x93 Study the test results of various products under development and guide our team on the required action plan.
\xe2\x80\x93 Provide technical support to the Sales and Procurement Departments regarding NCRs (Non-Conformance Reports) and provide step-by-step action plans and solutions.
\xe2\x80\x93 Provide formulation guides for lubricants and gradually develop the same knowledge for other lubricant and non-lubricant products.
\xe2\x80\x93 Prepare educational presentations for the Sales & Marketing teams (internal use and for customers).
\xe2\x80\x93 Learn the latest industry developments and report any changes to the Sales team and Management in an easy-to-understand method.
\xe2\x80\x93 Prepare professional technical documentation for existing products as well as new ones.
\xe2\x80\x93 Develop a system for data management and storage with regard to laboratory testing data and reports.
\xe2\x80\x93 Support the Production team and their activities with technical support.
\xe2\x80\x93 Develop formulations jointly with the support of the Line Manager, prepare and conduct test blends.
\xe2\x80\x93 Be actively involved in product testing, audits, and all coordination with the third-party laboratory team.
\xe2\x80\x93 Manage projects and ensure they are completed promptly and in accordance with deadlines.
\xe2\x80\x93 Track and manage new samples and products.
\xe2\x80\x93 Prepare the necessary reports in a timely manner and submit them to the Line Manager.
\xe2\x80\x93 Research and explore new suppliers for new products with expected quality in various chemical industries.
\xe2\x80\x93 Proposing techniques to improve research quality and team productivity.
\xe2\x80\x93 Reporting equipment problems and assisting with setting up new equipment.
\xe2\x80\x93 Guiding, training, and advising junior researchers and students, and supporting senior research staff.
\xe2\x80\x93 Developing and following standard operating procedures and adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.

\xe2\x80\x93 Degree in a Chemistry discipline or equivalent.
\xe2\x80\x93 Minimum 5 years of experience in the additive/lubricant industry.
\xe2\x80\x93 3 years of research-related experience.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices, and methods.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of scientific laboratory research techniques.
\xe2\x80\x93 Computer literacy and strong mathematical, analytical, and research skills.
\xe2\x80\x93 Understand different base oil classifications and their basic parameters.
\xe2\x80\x93 Must be able to formulate monograde & multigrade formulations.
\xe2\x80\x93 In-depth knowledge of the necessary instruments/equipment for laboratory use.
\xe2\x80\x93 Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills.
\xe2\x80\x93 Knowledge of additive components: SAE, VG, API, ILSAC, JASO specifications, and different additives, such as PCMO, HDDEO, Gear oil additives, ATF, Hydraulic, etc. is an advantage.
