The United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) is seeking to hire a Research Associate at the Human Capital Research Center (HCRC). The HCRC analyses the current situation, global trend and studying the future foresight of future job market and skills, that relies on scientific methods and approaches in conducting and publishing relevant studies, to determine the future competencies, capabilities and skills required. It aims to help align future trends and labour market demands with the education outputs to guarantee better career opportunities and readiness. The Center contributes to enhancing human capital and developing qualified national competencies to meet the labour market future demands locally, regionally and globally. Research Associate will report to the Higher Education Research and Development Unit Head. The successful candidate may have research interests and expertise in a range of fields including human resources management and development, career development, competencies and future needed skills, agile workforce, inflation and unemployment, higher education, labour market trends, and economic growth to ensure the following but not limited to: - Perform routine testing and review testing data and results to ensure compliance to appropriate test methods, specifications, and protocols. - Modify and plan research experiments and procedures. - Summaries raw data, data entry and data management. - Working with data engineers to construct and maintain databases. - Recognize anomalous and inconsistent results and interpret outcomes with guidance from more senior staff. - May author technical reports and other associated documentationMinimum Qualification- A Master\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management (preferred) or any other relevant discipline from a Reputable university. - Minimum of 3 years of work experience in related field. - Excellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skills - Adaptable and flexible to the continuous changes associated with research demands - Strong background in human resources management and Career development - Analytical and reporting skills - Technical skills and basic knowledge in designing and conducting research using quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods - Analysing information and drawing conclusions, and writing scientific research in the fields of the unit - The ability to publish and market research and studies - Demonstrate familiarity with the work environment in the UAE - Highly developed organizational, analytical and problem-solving skillsPreferred Qualification
