Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Research Assistant in our Information systems Department in our Qatar Campus.


The assistant will work closely with the lead researcher to:


1. Briefly reviewing and synthesizing current and emerging literature on social engineering, phishing, and the application of AI in cybersecurity.


2. Managing and testing the first version of a countermeasure android App


3. Incorporating new functionalities in the app and improving the App


4. Working closely with collaborators and maintaining upto date updates about projects, including code bases


5. Contributing to academic publications and technical documentation.

Qualifications:

Required:


1. Strong interest in cybersecurity, social engineering, or AI applications.


2. Knowledge of Android App development and maintenance


3. Able to setup servers and ability to work with Agentic AI


4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
