Research Assistant (architectural Engineering)
Job Description
The Architectural Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a research assistant in the area of building energy performance gap and remote sensing technologies. The research assistant should be knowledgeable of building energy consumption and its energy performance gap from operational issues. The candidate should be able to synthesize, characterize and apply POE and remote sensing technologies with machine learning for analyzing building energy performance. The preferred candidate should have demonstrated experience in the both POE and dynamic building simulation software (such as, DesignBuilder, IES VE and so on) and have a master degree in relevant field.
Minimum Qualification
An appropriate educational degree supplemented with documented evidence to support the following: o Skilled in Revit, Auto CAD, DesignBuilder, POE o Ability to synthesize and characterize building operational process, building energy consumption and POE results o Good technical writing skills o Flexible approach and initiative in executing the role.
