Research Assistant
Job Description
A Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Anatomy, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University, with Prof. Mohd Z. Allouh for a one-year duration (November 1, 2025-October 31, 2026). The successful candidate will be engaged in both medical and biomedical projects that include the fields of Neurosurgery, Clinical Anatomy, Histology, and Applied Physiology. The position is for an enthusiastic young medical professional who can work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate should have an MBBS/MD degree, and being a UAE graduate is preferred. The candidate should have good knowledge in more than one of the following areas: Neurosurgery, Clinical Anatomy, Histology, and Applied Physiology. The Primary responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to: Handling animal experimental research (experiments will be performed on rodents). conducting medical literature searches Analyzing data using appropriate software performing other job-related duties, as required. Applications should include a letter of interest, curriculum vitae, a copy of the official transcript, a copy external medical examination certificate (if present), and a brief summary of previous research and clinical experience.
Minimum Qualification
The applicant must hold an MBBS/MD degree with a very good academic record.

Salary Range
AED 3,000.00 and health insurance coverage.
