The Chemical and Petroleum Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to conduct advanced research on fines migration and its implications for hydrocarbon recovery and reservoir management. Key Responsibilities o Conduct experimental and theoretical studies on fines migration in porous media, including its impact on permeability, formation damage, and oil recovery. o Develop models and simulations to predict fines behavior under various reservoir conditions. o Design and execute laboratory experiments to investigate fines mobilization, deposition, and control mechanisms. o Analyze data and interpret findings to generate high-quality research outputs. o Publish research findings in high-impact journals and present at international conferences.
