We are seeking a passionate, detail-oriented Research Assistant to aid the office of the Dean at the CHSS to administer a number of research related and administrative tasks. The task of the successful candidate will be to translate documents from Arabic to English and from English to Arabic, help collect data, build experimental materials and help with administrative tasks within the office of the Assistant Dean for Research and Graduate Studies.
Minimum Qualifacation
Master/BA in Translation or allied fields
Preferred Qualifacation
PhD/Master in translation or allied fields (linguistics)
Excpected Skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate ability to translate texts in different domains from Arabic into English and back and to work proactively within a group. Experience in translation, linguistic data vetting and preparation will be a plus.
Salary Range
4000-5000 UAE Dirhams per month, based on experience
