The Role
Research assistant position in Computer Science. The successful applicant will work within a research project for 8 months at the College of Information Technology. The candidate will work on the research project "Improving End-user Quality of Experience in Adaptive Video Streaming over HTTP". He/she will: \xe2\x80\xa2 Study existing techniques for user QoE optimization by performing a thorough literature review. \xe2\x80\xa2 Design and develop an optimization algorithm for QoE. \xe2\x80\xa2 Implement this new algorithm and do a comparison analysis with exiting algorithms.

Requirements
Minimum Qualification \xe2\x80\xa2 Master degree in Computer Science or related field. \xe2\x80\xa2 The applicants must have a very strong command of English with very evident proficiency in scientific writing. \xe2\x80\xa2 A publication record of at least two indexed journal papers. Preferred Qualification \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong background in distributed Computing and programming. \xe2\x80\xa2 Evidence of publication in International Conference and/or Journal Expected Skills/Rank/Experience \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong practical and theoretical background in Computer Science
