The Role
The research assistant works in the Connected Intelligent Autonomous Systems under the supervision of primary researcher who leads the research team. The main duties and responsibilities of the RA: \xe2\x80\xa2 Carry out experiments and research according to guidelines laid out by the supervisor \xe2\x80\xa2 Collect and log experimental data \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct statistical analyses of data sets \xe2\x80\xa2 Install testbed, configure and conduct experiments \xe2\x80\xa2 Write code in C, C++, and Python \xe2\x80\xa2 Contribute into the writing of papers \xe2\x80\xa2 Conduct research and literature reviews \xe2\x80\xa2 Maintain laboratory equipment and inventory

Requirements
The candidate should have the following qualifications: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor and Master\'s degree in computer science or related disciplines \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in developing embedded and IoT systems ARM, Linux, Microcontrollers, Sensors, RFID, MCUs \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in simulation techniques, security, anti-hacking techniques, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in programming Qt,C/C++, Python, Matlab, Flask, Jason, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with conducting research and publishing scientific papers Preferred Qualification: \xe2\x80\xa2 Preference is given to candidates accepted or willing to enroll in PhD program in UAE University. \xe2\x80\xa2 Fluency in English at least 6.5 in IELTS or equivalent Expected Skills/Rank/Experience: \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor and Master\'s degree in computer science or related disciplines \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in developing embedded and IoT systems ARM, Linux, Microcontrollers, Sensors, RFID, MCUs \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in simulation techniques, security, anti-hacking techniques, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience in programming Qt,C/C++, Python, Matlab, Flask, Jason, etc. \xe2\x80\xa2 Experience with conducting research and publishing scientific papers
