Job Description

We are currently in need of an experienced programmer/developer. The ideal candidate is expected to have intensive experience in writing efficient programs and supporting software solutions related to the data science and Analytics research group. The candidate is expected to decompose highly complex problems into manageable requirements and then develop and implement sensible, reliable, and efficient solutions within a dynamic and rapid code development environment without sacrificing quality. He/ She must be able to make advanced machine learning models published and available for users via dynamic graphical websites and interfaces.

Minimum Qualification
BSc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field from a recognized university.

Preferred Qualification
  • MSc. In Data Science or Computer Science
  • Programming experience particularly in Python, R, and Scripting Languages
  • Intensive experience in designing relational and no-SQL databases
  • Strong experience with Cloud technologies (such as AWS, Azure, Cloudera, etc.)
  • Exposure to Big Data systems \xe2\x80\x93 Hadoop ecosystem, Cassandra, Spark Exposure to Agile and DevOps processes and approaches
  • Experience in distributed software
  • Experience in developing successful AI models.
  • Proved complex cross-functional analytics predictive models developed for solving business issues and requirements.
  • Publishing in leading venues (journals and conferences)
  • Proven experience in developing successful dynamic websites, tools, and software.
