Job Description

Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Assistant with proven experience in medical research and high research productivity, including literature review and manuscript writing for peer-reviewed publications. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Arabic and English and have demonstrated expertise in data collection, statistical analysis, and the preparation of research articles. Familiarity with statistical software such as SPSS, STATA, SAS, or R is essential. Candidates with a strong publication record and a background in medical research are strongly encouraged to apply. Key Responsibilities Literature Review: Conduct systematic and narrative literature reviews to provide robust background and context for ongoing and upcoming research projects. Data Collection Tools: Develop and test tools such as questionnaires, surveys, and other instruments tailored to project requirements. Data Collection: Coordinate and conduct data collection activities, including fieldwork, interviews, and electronic data gathering, while ensuring compliance with ethical standards. Data Analysis: Perform advanced statistical analyses using software such as SPSS and R to derive meaningful insights from collected data. Reporting: Prepare detailed research reports, manuscripts, presentations, and data visualizations for internal and external stakeholders. Project Management: Assist in coordinating research activities, timelines, and deliverables to ensure projects are completed efficiently. Publication Support: Lead and collaborate on manuscript preparation for submission to peer-reviewed journals, ensuring high standards of scientific writing and publication quality. Compliance: Adhere to ethical research guidelines and institutional review board (IRB) protocols, ensuring confidentiality and data integrity.
Minimum Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field such as Public Health, Epidemiology, Medicine, Biostatistics, or a related discipline.
