Research Assistant
Job Description
A Research Assistant position is available in the Department of Internal Medicine, College of Medicine & Health Sciences, United Arab Emirates University with Prof Juma AlKaabi. The successful candidate will be engaged in a clinical research project investigating clerkship students learning and clinical reasoning. The position is for an enthusiastic young doctor/scientist with interest in clinical research who can work with patients with minimal supervision. The successful candidate should have at least a medical degree and clinical experience (having completed internship). The candidate should have good knowledge and experience in clinical research. Primary responsibilities include the design and performance of clinical research as well as interviewing patients and taking blood samples and performing focussed Ultrasound and Fibroscan. Additional duties include preparing and maintaining detailed records, logs and summary reports of all research findings using appropriate software, and performing other job-related duties, as required.
Minimum Qualification
The applicant must be a doctor/medical practitioner and must have Good clinical Practice certificate.
